FERC
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
PSG is designated as an Approved Agency to provide Construction Quality Assurance, Quality Audits, and Inspection Support for LNG projects throughout the United States under FERC 18 CFR Part 380.
INDUSTRY / 03.01
FERC and BC OGC Approved Agency. Liquefaction trains, peak-shaving plants, import and export terminals, bunkering facilities.
INDUSTRY FRAMING
The North American LNG buildout is in a multi-year capex cycle. Regulators are watching every authorized project as a precedent. Owners cannot afford a finding on commissioning, and EPCs cannot afford a re-inspection that pushes first cargo by a quarter. Our work sits exactly there: at the interface between construction completion, regulatory sign-off, and operational readiness. We are the inspectors regulators have already approved to act as Agency on their behalf.
SCHEMATIC
Stages marked in sienna are where PSG's scope concentrates. FERC and BC OGC Approved Agency designations cover the regulatory authorization phase and the commissioning phase; the source-inspection and construction-monitoring scope is contracted directly with the owner.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS
LNG-specific standards plus the supporting pressure-equipment, piping, and welding codes that every authorized project must demonstrate compliance with.
