What PSG covered
The brief
What the client needed
A BC coastal LNG export terminal was approaching first cargo with construction substantially complete. The owner contracted PSG as an independent Approved Agency to verify mechanical completion and accompany the operations-readiness check-out, working alongside the EPC and the BC Oil and Gas Commission.
PSG's approach
What we did, in order
- 01
Mechanical completion audits across nine subsystems, with photographic evidence and code citations logged for each finding.
- 02
Electrical and instrumentation calibration witnessing, with deviations from approved procedures escalated within the shift in which they were observed.
- 03
Operations readiness review covering operator training records, procedural completeness, and emergency response drill outcomes.
- 04
Daily liaison with the BC OGC on-site representative; weekly summary report co-signed by PSG and the owner project lead.
